Project Overview
Client: Intermezzos Cafe
Location: Eau Claire, WI
This identity was created for the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire’s college campus cafe. An intermezzo is a “musical break”. So this meaning was applied to the cafe as a coffee break to connect the two themes together. The challenge was to integrate interactivity with the space and the cafe. This was done with chalk boards signs integrating the logo and fruit, creating a cafe feel, within the University’s commons area. The reasoning behind the fruit is that the cafe was now serving pastries (a common ingredient was fruit) when they didn’t in the past.
