Client: Roasting Ground

This identity needed to represent the name and at the same time be a simple symbol to use on all Roasting Ground promotions. To incorporate the warm sensation of steam and heat from many of their coffee drinks, a swirl of steam was intertwined with the letters. The goal was to also make the mark simple because the cafe was much more oriented around business customers who were in a hurry or need a somewhat professional atmosphere to meet up with a client. The overall design of the interior of the cafe was clean, simple and elegant, making sure not to bombard the customer with excess, unnecessary decoration. So the design elements were to follow this lead as well.
