Olson’s Ice Cream is a family owned ice cream shop and deli located in Chippewa Falls, WI. They were in need of an online presence and a consistent branding strategy.
Since 1923, they’ve used many different logos, signage and marketing materials. Sarah Lynn Design has created a new logo design, website, and email template for Olson’s.
Their new logo represents the classic, old fashioned feel their business’ physical location expresses. It was also important to them to have an ice cream cone in their logo.
Never in the past has their logo had this symbol, even though their business is focused on ice cream. Olson’s can have up to 28 different flavors of ice cream at any time during the year. They’ve made over 80 different flavors over the years and rotate their customer’s favorites depending on the season.
Their website gives them the ability to change these seasonal flavors quite quickly. Customers now can view their deli menu online, making it easier for area businesses to place orders if they are without a menu. On their homepage you can check out their current specials before visiting as well.
Olson’s customers can submit a review and their favorite flavors on the “what people are saying” page (shown below). Don’t underestimate the power of a customer review!
